We moved the ball down the field a little this week as far as selling the house. The buyers had their inspection last weekend and this week we agreed to a resolution, so that leaves two more hurdles: the appraisal and the buyers having their loan approved by the underwriters.
The other news this week is that the results of the rabies titres for Greta and Tiki came back, and not surprisingly they were fine (it’s a test to verify that they are immune to rabies). Now that we have the results we can apply to the NZ Ministry of Primary Industries for an import permit for them. The pet export company that will be helping us was also able to send us a schedule for the required vet visits . There’ll be three for Greta and two for Tiki in the month before we leave in order to verify immunizations and administer parasite treatments. I’ll talk more about the process for bringing the pets with us in another post when I run out of things to talk about.
No no no.
