Get ready for another post about a tag sale! Now that I have you in the edge of your seat, things got busier this week as we switched into tag sale mode. We did a fair amount of cleaning out in the basement and I was able to make some good progress on the garage as well. We also started moving things for the tag sale to the garage. We haven’t tackled the large items just yet but we did manage to enlist Kelly’s aunt to help with it. Next we’ll move the bigger furniture to the garage and finish putting prices on everything.
In other developments, we made a successful (read 4+ hour) trip to Ikea to pick up new light fixtures to replace the ceiling fan. Also this weekend we looked at some carpet samples and have arranged to have the upstairs carpet replaced in the next few weeks. So all in all we’re making progress in getting the house ready to list. A little more mundane than getting the visa, but necessary none-the-less.
