The whole immigration process can generally be boiled down to one thing: waiting. Not long after we put in our citizenship application we got message that the processing time was going to be even longer than expected, probably around nine to twelve months.
Since that time Immigration has apparently added contractors to speed up the processing time, but it’s still quite a ways behind, so we’re not expecting to hear anything until around April-ish. In the meantime it’s summer, so we’ll enjoy some warm weather, the holidays, and some time off work.
