Closing

So to be completely honest, we bought the house almost two years ago now and I’ve already forgotten most of the settlement process. As best I remember, we gave our solicitor our bank info and they set up the transfer for the mortgage and transferred the title and such. The day of, we went down to the solicitors office and signed some stuff and were done. The one thing I do remember is that it was much less of an ordeal the a closing in the US where you spend a hour signing an enormous stack of papers.

I went back to my office ad a couple of hours later the realtor stopped by with the keys and that was it, we had a house!
