Time to run

After the chaos of the move it was time for some down time at Kelly’s aunt & uncles cabin in the mountains.  We headed up on Wednesday after the container was loaded, then headed right back down on thursday morning to meet the cleaners as we handed over the house.  Kelly headed up to  200 mile / 12-person-per-team relay race called Ragnar from Copper Mtn to Snowmass on Thursday evening.  It’s a race she has been wanting to do since she moved to Colorado so it was great that she go to check it off her bucket list before we left.  I spent the days that Kelly was at her race doing fun stuff with Hopscotch like the Butterfly Pavillion, visiting a few friends of mine and Clara’s in Denver, and cracking the screen on my phone.

On Sunday Kelly’s aunt & uncles and cousins came up to the cabin to BBQ for one last send-off.  We had a few last goodbyes before spending out final night in the mountains on Sunday.  On Monday we head down to Denver for one last hectic day of chores before leaving on Tuesday.
