Not much happening. Our immigration agent forwarded a message from INZ confirming that they receive our application and it’s been entered into their system. The email said they aim to assign a case officer within 10 days of receipt of the application. In Nov. 2014 they assigned a case officer to applications within 10 days around 80% of the time, and within 20 days 93% of the time, though our agent said that timeframe is out of date. When we got a package back from London returning our original documents, the cover letter said they expect to assign a case officer within 4-6 months. Our immigration agent told us that timeframe is out of date, too, and we can hopefully expect to have our application assigned much sooner than that. So somewhere between 10 days and four months… in the meantime, she emailed us a list of some interview questions that we might get asked so that we can start preparing for the all important, do-or-die, make-or-break interview.
